Finding Original Bolt/screw Types

Recommended Posts

Ok, there's missing screws and bolts in some places and then there's quite a few which don't belong in the car but do the job. I want to replace everything so all screws/bolts are present and are the right types. Only problem is finding out what the original type is so that I can source them.

I've tried ServiceBox and can obviously find the part numbers but it doesn't list the common names or types. Then there's the issue where some parts don't seem to be on there. For example, I need the hook-type mounts for the rear parcel shelf and need a couple of the screws. ServiceBox doesn't even show the hook-type mounts for some reason, and doesn't say anything about screw size, thread, length etc.

Does anyone know of anywhere? If I start searching for screws/bolts/nuts based on the PSA part numbers I assume I'll be looking for years.

Try this one :

http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/

.. it's the pre servicebox PSA catalogue for 205/309/405 models , much more detailed and with all the bits and pieces listed .

You're my saviour at the moment haha! Cheers for that.

Noticed the pages for the rear parcel shelf have some more detail but not for the screws. However, think I spotted the types listed in both places...

6920 47 01 SCREW RLX 5X080-30

Take it that's a M5 x 0.80 30mm screw?
