No Spark

iv no spark in my car at tho moment and im wondering about the wires that plug into the coil pack. 3 yellow wires go into the brown multiplug but there is four prongs on the coil pack. along with the yellow wires there is one black,,,connected to nothing...shoud it go to earth?? its a 2.0 turbo from a 406

4th wire isn't usually used, if it is connected to anything its to reduce interference ( Can;t remember specifically what the component is called)

 

 

You need to check that you have power on that plug when you turn the ignition on.

 

Got a crank sensor plugged in?

 

Got the wasted spark type ignition amp, NOT the original 205 amp?
