Floor Pan Sealing Strips

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any idea where I can get a suitable material to replace the sealing strip covering the three holes in the floor pan.

Unfortunately I didn't remove them for a sample before the shell went to the dippers.

(it's the darker red strip in the middle of the picture towards the bottom)

its not a sealing strip, its a rubberised sealing mastic type material which was brushed on, almost like a liquid tiger seal.

Thanks for that,

How does it get brushed over the holes and have you any idea where I can get some from?

I think Welshpug is looking at the wrong part.

The bit you're talking about looks like a foam strip.

ohhh the tar like sealing stuff, just some stuck down sound deadening will do the truck, like dynamat or similar, or even flashing tape.
