Bogging Down/hesitation

Hi all, im currently prepping a 205 for road rallying and ive got a problem when i open the throttle. it seems a bit like a flat spot but theres a strong spark even when it does bog down when i open the throttle. it is over fuelling as the spark plugs are black, it also backfires and splutters when it bogs down. if i unplug the AFM it will rev freely with no hesitation but will not idle, but with the AFM plugged in it idles but splutters when i open the throttle. any help is appreciated. Based on my own experience a few years ago when I had the same problem - get hold of another known working (and correct part number for the engine) AFM and see if it solves the issue.

 

Plugs, leads, etc, were all fine on my car, but as soon as I swapped to another AFM problem sorted & has been fine ever since
