Can I still get 8V exhaust manifold gaskets and studs from the main dealer?

Probably, also your local factors will charge less than a fiver for the gaskets.

Make sure you get Payen Gaskets, the others are quite poor in comparison, Also again the manifold face needs refacing to make it level as the end 2 ports tend to eat away with rust over time, Studs you cannot get unless they are clever and cross reference things, But I have these in stock with better nuts too

Exhaust gaskets can vary between manufacturers , I have 4 different makes spare and the diameter of the round hole varies a lot .The OE Peugeot gasket 0349.70 has a 35mm dia hole and the smallest of the pattern gaskets I have measures at 32mm dia .

The standard cast iron exhaust manifold ports are around 33.5 mm diameter and my Magnex manifold is 35.25 -- 36 mm dia , so by using the wrong part you could be restricting your exhaust gas flow .

I will be using the Peugeot gaskets on my engine when its ready .

PS , you would not believe how often they get fitted in the wrong position - they are not symmetrical .
