Small Pin On Lever

Recommended Posts

roccorich

Got the radiator and all the coolant hoses out at the moment so thought I would adjust the clutch cable while access is easy and I noticed this pin acting as a stop for the clutch level arm. Its threaded so I assume its supposed to screw into something but its just sat in the two recesses.

Is this right?

that's a home made rod someone has made after losing the original one, it should be plain with nice radiused ends.

That's how the BE1 setup is as standard, although that's not AFAIK the original item and looks like a cut-down bolt has been used instead.

There's meant to be a spring between the two bits as well, but like many cars yours is missing.
