I went to the dealers today to buy some of the chrome inserts for the bumpers (before spraying them red) and was told they come in a pack of 5.

 

Has anyone come across this with the strips?

They only come 1 strip for each bumper or moulding, Normal thing of the dealer not knowing whats what

The strip fixing clips come in packs of 5. I would imagine he's confused with that.

 

That's one reason why I go in with the part numbers at hand and tell them exactly what I want and for anything I randomly think of for which I don't have a number for, I often end up spinning the monitor around and finding it for them on their PC

Red trims strips did come in 5's back in the day as I found to my advantage a few years ago.

 

I think the chrome will come in 5's, the reason being dealers are showing very large quantities of them on the shelf.

 

Paul, the reason you got them individually is Alan had box's in stock opened.
