Hi,

 

I am debating whether or not to replace my exhaust with a standard one. I bought the car last year with the current one on there, which I believe to be an "old skool" Scorpion one, and I recently bought a middle section off ebay but I still can't decide what to do!

 

I have recently bought two standard back boxes to go onto the standard system I purchased but the first, from Eurocarparts, arrived battered and the second carried the same part number as a Bosal one but it's actually by an unheard of brand called Regal. Both have gone back and I think fate is taking place...........

 

What would you do?

Personally I'd chop the tailpipe off and weld it on straight, I hate the stupid angle those ones sit at!

One was battered (was sent in the post without any wrapping at all) and the other was from a brand I'd never heard of but was using the product code of another which I thought was odd.

Hmm I meant what was the problem in those cases? I have a crappy brand new 3rd party back box (euroflo) here too that came pretty dented to hell but as its going out of sight I don't see the problem. And regarding names/brands they will all rot and fall apart over time so that's why i always buy cheapest.
