Track Rod Washer Order?

Can somebody advise me on the order of these?

 

I assume that the weird shaped thing on the right slots into the washer. with the weird shaped thing butted up to the matching shapes in the rod.

Not sure which way round the washer goes?

Also not sure where the little plastic thingy goes?

 

If it makes a difference, they are going into a xsara vts rack

They look a little different to the parts I have for my 309 GTI rack . My new track rod does not have the angular cut outs on the end face like yours . The washer itself is a one piece part that looks like a combination of the 2 metal parts - no idea what the round plastic thing is .

The Peugeot part number for the 205/309 washer is 4058.25 .

I have no experience of the Xsara rack though .

Depends if the washer will fit the xsara rack, i dont think it does, i know the 306 rack doesnt use those but the zx and 205 did.

The Ph 1 Xsara VTS rack I put rods on recently wouldn't accept the washers, so presumably is the same as the 306. I just installed the rods with some threadlock instead.

As above, I've put several Xsara racks on 205s and none have used the locking washers, they've all been fine with threadlock.
