Removal Of Spotlight

Recommended Posts

iwallers

Hi,

Any ideas how to remove spotlights as top bolt snapped and bottom bolt seized solid, Don't want to break valance as.it's in good condition.

Or does anyone have spotlight backs and bolts if.the only way is to break plastic

Any ideas welcome and thanks in advance

I used a nut splitter to get some lights off of a valence recently without damaging anything except the nuts.

Apply some heat to the large nuts and often you can get them off. Use a plumbers heat mat to protect the plastic valance.

I used a nut splitter like Jackherer too, you can still get the nuts from Peugeot.

Never really seen these before. Just watched a video on Youtube and they look really good.

nut splitters work a treat so long as you have the room to use them which unfortunately is often not the case.
