Intermittent Mis-Fire Mi16

I've got a standard Mi16 in my 205 and recently I've had some problems with a mis-fire, its not all the time and only ever happens under load. The car has done about 6000 miles since the conversion and everything was new at the time, leads, plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm. Any suggestions where to start looking?

ignition amp or coil breaking down will do that.

Under load the spark isn't strong enough and it will just mush.

As above coil and ignition amp seem likely but i recently had similar issues from the earth wires that attach to the fuel rail mounting bolts being loose.

Does anyone make decent coils and amps? I bought new ones when I did the conversion but the car ran like crap so I put the old ones back on and it's was fine. My old cool does look rather beat tho so could well be that
