Thanks for the replays the engine was meant to be out of a phase 1 xsara

How can I tell this ?

Have labeled most of loom apart from 2 wires

I copied a thread on here and that tread had 2 wires in labeled

Phil, ignoring all the wires associated with the dash/indication, there are only really 3 wires you need to get right, 32, 76, and the starter/solenoid wire..... And all the ECU/sensor stuff which is hard to get wrong.

WP or somebody will be able to help but you need to give more info/pics etc, not many on here do mind reading/lottery numbers etc

Have you proved the ECU unlocked, proved you have a spark?

My car wouldn't start because of poor battery connections and not a big enough battery, it sounded as though it wanted to, but won't until you get these right....... Took me a day to find that one out!
