Me 1 Vs. Locking Wheel Nuts 0

Recommended Posts

Had some time on Sunday morning so decided to tackle my locking wheel nuts for which I'd lost the key.

Welded on a cut down M12 bolt head and freed them off one by one. Quite easy in the end

I've had to remove loads of them over the years. I sacrificed a socket and short extension that have removed plenty and are still going strong, I just hammer the socket on using the extension as a drift then remove the extension and use another one to actually turn the socket.

Iv got a tool for this but now and then have to resort to welding a nut or a bolt to them, the boy in the garage near where I work always gets me to do them for him
