Calling all VW people.

 

The mothers 2002 1.2 3cyl Polo has I suspect jumped it's timing chain (apparently common fault)

 

Obviously I need to change the guides chain and tensioner.

 

What I'm after is a workshop manual with torque settings etc to do the job.

 

Is there anyone out there with either a copy of the dealer manuals or auto data who can send me some pdf's?

It's the 65kw engine which I believe to be 4 valves per cyl.

Worth a compression test first I has one recently on about 30k had worn valve guides on cylinder 3(flywheel end) quiet a common issue as well.
