Bit Of Help With My Car

Hi everyone,

 

im new to this site and want to know the spec on my car.

 

its an F reg 205 GTI 1.9.

 

what phase is it?

 

what engine code will it be?

 

i dont know much about it apart from that its awesome!

 

when i bought the car last jan it wouldnt tick over and still wont. it needs a good service but does anyone know what is likely to be wrong with it?

 

its misfiring aswel but as iv said it wont tick over.

 

any help would be great

it'll be a phase 1.5 with a D6B engine most likely, leccy windows and possibly PAS, central locking off the key, optional to a fob.

Yeah it has electric windows but there not working.

 

I'm not too sure about central locking but there are cables running from the locks so they could be for that?

 

There is a fob with it but it doesn't do anything, I think the battery is dead.

 

It's going up to my uncles garage soon so he will be doing all engine work and maybe some electrical if it's not going to be too costly.

 

I can't get the passenger door to open and IV spent ages fiddling with it but gotten nowhere, I am useless when it comes to mechanics lol
