Obviously it's non standard - best guess is that it's something related to an aftermarket alarm.

Either that, or you're driving a prototype Bond car and it launches the sharks with friggin' lazer beams attached to their heads :D

Every time you press it, somewhere a kitten dies.

Have you got interior motion sensors? Pure guess it could disable them so you can leave a pet in the car and still use the alarm.

If it is secret weaponry, you can bet it'll be fixed in place with cable ties ;)

I think it's a button for when you push it the car folds out too reveal a concourse T16 with full rally hardware as standard.

I have a similar button in my car. It's the BMW assist button.

I used to have a button just like it in my car when i first got it, it was annoying mounted in the hazard fog blank part of the dash. Like most of the rest of the car it was broken

So I never did get to find out what it did

I'm not too sure but I keep getting erections at strange times and it might coincide with you pushing the button, how regular are you pushing the button?

If my suspicions are correct then I'll be willing to pay handsomely. :D
