Recommended Posts

peewee

Hi Andy, or any other member, I'm a new member and very interested in the refurbishment of the rear suspension ARB etc and have read quite a few topics on this forum Wurzell's springs to mind but like you it would make a little more sense if I could talk to and possibly see some old remains etc ., ( a picture is worth a 1000 words ) eh! I live in Whaley Bridge Derbyshire , could anybody help ? Anything would be greatly appreciated

Pete

Hi Pete, the members here are great, picked up some very useful tips and help with this process, I'm ok with the spanners but no expert. I've read lots here and you tend to pick up some good points from different threads. Is your suspension seized as mine was? It was a job to get everything off, and as members said the beam tube is scrap now. If like me it's seized you'll need another beam crosstube, new axle shafts, bearing etc which are available on ebay. I was tempted to buy a recon beam, but with the help of everyone here I'm glad I decided to give it a go. Still got lots to do but it's moving forward...slowly!
