Split Ends.

Evening all,

the last time I removed track rod ends, it was on a triumph Herald and required brute force, a lump hammer and a ball joint splitter, is this still the respectful way to remove a track rod end from it's fixing or have we moved on a bit since then?

more or less, yes. take care not to damage the dust covers if not replacing tre's

No need, just a few decent thumps on the side of the hub where the pin taper is and they pop out.
