Supersport2 12 1 Cars Posted March 11, 2014 Can anyone give me any hints for replacing the rear quarter? Looking at a car that has the panel cut off, and a new one ready to replace it. I've looked through the forum and found one car that's had it done. I can see that the panel is spot or plug welded around the boot lip, the rear window and welded across the joint at the boot. I haven't had a sill off this car or a 205 personally, so how does the panel fix along the seam, with the sill and what do you do around the wheel arch?? I'm not a welder, but I've replaced various panels on cars over the years, so I have an idea what I'm doing, just never done this before!! Hope that makes sense?!! Juttie205 123 2 Cars Posted March 11, 2014 The sill I believe is spot welded to the quarter panel from the inside and I think the arch is bonded with sealant to inner arch.
