can anybody tell me what these are? seen them on many 205's, but i dont know if there original from new?.. or a passing boy racer fad?

must say i quite like them, but then i liked the pinstripe around the rear windows on my xs.

There were quite a few types, so yes the 'Lion' ones are genuine.

 

I got lucky on eBay, was the only bidder and got them for £12.

this was also in one of the early max power mags i'm sure. The one with Rab's 205 Mi16 and the dimma cosworth.

Yeah, I loved that one, until I replaced the drivers door due to a dent and of course was left with a gap in the decal. Back then (7 years ago, where does the time go?) most people on here seemed fascinated by those decals and I don't remember hearing from anyone who had owned a GTI with them before. Quite surprised when this topic popped up!
