Nice find and it seems to prove what I've said all along, that all GTIs were lacquered from the factory.

Thanks, that is what I have been looking for.

I think the production dates are not all correct, my 1900 cti date is 04-1992, the table states first production 07-1992?

I was actually just wondering that this morning. I think all the lacquer has blown of my alpine white as it doesn't look like it has any and i need to paint some parts.
