Roof Bars?

Hello,

I am trying to find some roof bars for my 205 Gti,

I have the factory fitted vacuum seal type, can I still get roof bars to fit?

I want to be able to carry my push bike with it.

What type have people got?

I've got a factory set of roof bars. They clamp to edge of the roof/ door.

Personally I hang my bikes off the back on the 205 and the e91.

I've got a genuine Peugeot roof rack with a sliding sunroof, works fine. Only thing to watch out for with the roof racks is if fitted in hot weather they can cause the lacquer to lift under the rubber foot pads. I've had it happen to 2 205s now.

I use one on my 309 that clamps to the rails fine.

 

Personally I would never put a bike on the back again, end up wrapping pedals and any other sharp bits up so it doesn't scratch your boot which has happened to me,

I am looking to go the roof bars route as I already have two bike carriers which fit to roof bars.

Wonder if Peugeot still stock any?

I use to take the pedals off.

These days I have fancy Thule tow bar rack.

Straight on in seconds and off we go.
