Another Horn Question ( Have Searched Already)

I have a single nautilus horn with no compressor.

Can't get it to work in conjunction with the stalk but works direct from the battery with live and earth feed.

When in its proper location I have 3 wires:

Live ( to battery)

Earth ( to front panel earth block . Not corroded)

Feed from horn push

All earths / connectors are shiny and clean.

I have searched the forum but can't figure out where I'm going wrong.

Stalk is knackered then, not uncommon.

I have same but mines an intermittent problem. I've got spare stalks but they all exhibit the same traits.

There is a relay in between the stalk and horn you might want to check out.

Thanks for the advice: I have tried 2 other stalks although they are second hand and condition unknown.

Is there anything else that could possibly be at fault.

The relay?

If the stalk works you'll hear the relay click. / if that is working that is.

 

These are the only things aside from dodgy connection.
