Tank Strap.

Just a quick one chaps.

 

 

Can someone please tell me where the fat washer goes when refitting the tank strap. I took the strap off in September and I can't remember where the washer goes now.

Where the strap loops round the wire "oval" that is attached to the beam, the thick washer goes on the bit which causes the loop to pinch together. Wordy description in lieu of a photo but hopefully you get the idea!!

So the rear of the strap. Does it just go between the bolt head and the strap or in between the strap faces where it closes together? (This is hard, I'm crap at explaining things at the best of times)

Small bracket comes down from rear bulkhead with a stud attached. Stud passes through the strap. Then rear of heat shield (slotted end). Then thick washer then a nut.
