Shorter Oil Filter

Anyone know partnumber or where to buy (pref online) a shorter oil filter so I can fit oil cooler take off to gti6 engine and clear the rad?

You'll want a Reanult 19 16v filter

Uni part number 381 I think as said it's a Renault filter

I didn't need a shorter filter. Are you using a standard rad?

 

Having said that, I fitting mine with the bumper/rad and cowling removed. So I have no idea if I could remove the filter now without having to remove the rad!

It fitted fine with 8v 1.9 but gti6 engine in with oil cooler the rad wouldnt fit back in. Standard rad.

Could have moved forward to get rad in but then no change of getting filter off.

Tipped top of rad forward a little to clear inlet

Mann W75/3 or any equivalent is the shortest oil filter I found.
