Ma5 Gear Ratios 4.29 Fd 205 Xs With Vtr Gears

Just looked at gear ratios today, I'm using 185 60 r14 tyres. Looked at how using the 4.29 FD with vtr gears with and without the gti 5th.

 

The complete 106 GTI set would be identical to an XSI box.

 

I'm going to use the VTR gear set with GTI 5th, the red line. It has the least gradient between 2, 3, 4 and a max speed of 120 in 4th, quite ideal for track in my opinion.

 

Am I on the right line of thinking here??
