Base Model Ma Shaft Inner Cv Joint Re Fit

Recommended Posts

309jazzpanda

Fitted a later vtr box into my 205 base model with tu5 a few weeks a go and had to swap the inner shaft on the n/s so it would not foul on the diff and seal the oil in. Does anyone have any suggestions for re-sealing the tin can at the inner end of the n/s driveshaft mine is throwing a bit of grease out as I only tapped back in place very crudely (in a rush) plus the outer cv is a bit noisey/seizing and will be needing to swap the inner joint again if I replace the shaft.

Any ideas would be brilliant,thanks
