Meanwhile In Bosnia...

Today has been an interesting day...

First I stumbled upon a hen-house with a couple of abandoned CTI and GTI crash-repair / restoration projects.

It was dark and they were covered with a thick layer of dust and dirt, rags and parts, so I couldn't take a photo.

As usual, when it comes to such stories - they are not for sale.

Then I visited a shed with loads of random used 205 parts - nothing special until I discovered a NOS 1.9 GTI engine

and gearbox assembly hiding under a rag!

Not only that but I then found out about a guy who does superb just of fixing and reupholstering 205 GTI seats

(or any other seats for that matter, but it was interesting to see a 205 GTI one).

And finally, I treated myself to some tasty chicken drumsticks (NOT from that hen-house ).

Now THAT's what I call an eventful Sunday B).

How do you manage to stumble across these places!? Was the engine from the shed for sale?

I'm good friends with Santa .

It's apparently not for sale, but I said that I'd be interested in it, so that they think it over and give me a quote.

I've also booked my seats with the upholstery guy B). Now I have to decide which style to go for!
