Can Some Identify My Exhaust System?

as above, this system came on my 205, it has no manufacturer stamp, although it has a matching seriel number or code on the 4 branch mani, the mid section and rear section

 

the code is

 

XP22

MANA-XP22

C20J32M2

Just google about a bit, they were about £450 for the whole system new. A full used one went on ebay for £335

 

Give it a clean and keep it if it works fine.

I had one 15 years ago! I bought it second hand from someone who had bought it 10 years previously but not used it for 8 - £160 I think.

Good, long lasting - make a nice sound and a period mod. The manifold is claimed to give more torque.

I did think it was a little smoother from around 2-3krpm on the old 8v.

When I went Mi16 I kept the centre and backbox and fitted it to my maniflow 4-2-1. I sold the magnex manifold to someone on here for £100 back in 2003?

Sold the rest about 4 years ago.

 

Fit a stiffer lower mount - they originally were sold with one, stops the down pipes hitting the bulkhead.

nice to know that its a good system! the mid section an rear section are standless but the exhasust doesnt look to be? or else its very heat stanied

check it thoroughly for cracking, the manifolds are notorious for it.

If you're going to use it I'd be tempted to get the pipe to flange on the manifold properly welded, they're a bit s*it as standard and as welshpug says they crack for fun!
