205 And 106 Rear Beam Questions

Recommended Posts

Jarrus

A while ago i saw a thread on this forum saying that 106 torsion bars will fit a 205 beam and the arb will also fit if you use 306 end plate, id like some confirmation before i buy a 106 beam and start stripping it down,

Something i havent found anything about is the swing arms,

Will 106 gti swing arms fit in a 205 bean tube? If they do will it affect track width or anything like thats (camber, toe or anything else i hadnt thought of)

Any information you could provide would be much appreciated

Brett

not torsion bars, just the arb, and not quite long enough but works.

the rest is totally different and incompatible other than the brake calipers.

Just read it again, i got it wrong, he ment diameter rather than length,

Just a pain cause thicker torsion bars are soo expensive
