Carpet Mats - Black Or Grey?

I need some carpet mats for my 205. Not looking for any red piping etc - just plain mats. However, I cant decide whether to get grey or black. It's for a Phase 1.5 (grey leather and dash) interior. So, in theory I'd get grey but have done this in the past and it can look odd if it's a different grey. Hmm - grey or black? Any opinions, or pics, appreciated.

So surely then it's going to look just as odd, if not more so, with black mats? Black being a shade of grey (or vice versa if you prefer).

 

It all becomes academic once they're covered in mud anyway

i brought some tailored black mats off Ebay and mines a phase 1 , i don't feel it look's odd even with that bright red carpet behind them.

They do grey ones but I preferred the black ones.
