Looking For A Good Condition 205

Hi guys im on the hunt for a nice clean 205 gti for around the £1000 do you think this is possible or would I have to up my budget for a good one?

I'd say you need to up the budget to £2k to find one in reasonable condition. There's plenty out there that look good on the surface, but will be hiding corrosion underneath.

At £1k you will be in for doing some work I would say. If you want to buy one that needs little/nothing doing these days then you are going to have to up that budget.
