T16 Manifold

Looking into buying a t16 exhaust manifold but i don't want to spend too much on it being that its only a cast item, i know they are rare so i expect to pay more than normal, but how much do you think one is actually worth?

The lad reckons he paid £800 for it witch i cant see considering you can get a custom equal length one made up for around £600

 

I want to buy it but don't want to pay over the top for it then loose out if i come to sell it later on.

its come from a gti6. has had the ports elongated and extra studs drilled im guessing

sounds a bit bodged. I have no idea if it will clear the bulkhead in a 205 or even the gear selectors.

 

if you decide to buy it and not use it, you will struggle to sell it because it has been f***ed with and isnt original, and likely to be utter s*it anyway.

looking at those 2 photos youve posted, they look like different manifolds. bit hard to tell the first photo is so small.

 

if you want a turbo manifold for a gti6 further down the line, buy yourself a welders nightmare from dp

Pretty sure these are prone to cracking aswell so i would `nt bother .If you did decide you wanted one id message ALEXN off here i remember he had one a (cracked one) going easy enough to get it welded/brazed.

the manifold it nothing todo with the car i have at the moment

It's a bodge using it on the GTi6 head anyway I would say. Ports match very badly.
