So picked this up with a naffed engine about 2 month ago and ive been cracking on will let the pics do the talking (this is copied from another form so sorry if it dont make sense)

 

Cleaning/polishing

New engine stripping down

ARP Headstuds

Rust removal

Awaiting filler and paint not gonna be perfect but better than rust holes

Gt20 mocking up

Rebuild 11mm from jenks

FMIC mounting (will be painted matt black)

HDI conrods next to standard dturbo ones can you tell the difference? cos i carnt

So specs are as follow

1.9 xud9te engine

11mm hybrid bosch fuel pump

Garrett gt20 turbo

FMIC

HDI Conrods

ARP Headstuds

CG Paddle clutch

Hoping to see around 170bhp and 300ftlbs torque.

So that's all for now engine has hdi rods in just waiting for my torque wrench to arrive then i can make sure they torqued up right put oil pump on and sump on and i can put other stuff on like pipes etc.

Waiting on valve spring compressor so i can strip the head get it sent off skimmed and tested then can get that on

So slowly getting there wont be getting done for my dead line end of feb, looking at end of april maybe but as long as its done for pugfest im happy
