Torsion Bars - Which Is Which

Yes, I probably should have marked them but it's too late now...

 

I've just had my torsion bars back from the powder coaters but now don't know which is left and which is right - is there another way of knowing other than the no longer visible rings?

Hi,

when I was working on my beam a few years back I discovered that each TB had a set of small nicks in the machined end face as per this diagram.

 

Another forum member confirmed this so it's probable that this is a method for identifying them.
