Here's how shes sitting:

So I've had both wheels off and had a look and can't see anything noticeably wrong but it was muddy and pissing with rain which didn't help.

I've took loads of pictures so feel free to have a butcher and give any thoughts! Excuse the lack of camera quality.

Passenger (broken) side:

And from the front:

It sounded like the top mount was knocking for a couple of days to me and then as I was leaving my work shop it started grinding against the arch as seen in the first picture.

I've checked the components and they look undamaged.

Has anyone seen this before?

probably bent a track control arm and maybe damaged the ARB clamp on that side, might have shifted the ARB across in its bushes, I can;t remember if that car had the sideways locating rod or not.

I found a broken mount thing that looks like it holds the ARB in place. Multiple cracks and was wedged in the subframe, luckily it hadn't fell out or I wouldn't of even noticed!

The culprit:

Found a single random bolt the other must be long gone.

You can see the mount hanging on the ARB at the topof the picture, there is a slight kink in the ARB in the center, is this standard issue or has mine been bent?

Lastly does anyone know what part this is called and what number it is / where I can buy one?

Hopefully thats the cause of the wheel being so far out?

that'll be it for certain, given that you have track control arms and the ARB does the fore-aft location of the bottom of the strut.

I have a pair of steel clamps for a 205 if you need some, probably a little saver than the alloy ones if you knock the wheels off all the time :P

the bend is meant to be there to clear the exhaust.

Mmm thought it might be!

And I might as well put a new bush on whilst I'm at it like this: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161118793936 ?

What ones do you have Mei? And how much for? Not looking to spend much!

I have what you have linked to on ebay, I'll do them at a tenner posted the pair :) would advise fitting the pair if you have managed to break one.

the bush is probably fine tbh, they're usually very hard wearing from the factory, if you do want to replace them you will need to measure the arb accurately, as they could be 20, 22 or 23mm, most likely 23 I think as its a diesel model, they're around a fiver from Peugeot.
