Brake Pads

anyone got preferences on brake pads for fast road (red stuff etc ) seen these http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=15444 didn't no if anyone had used them

At that price I would imagine they are s*ite. Stick to decent brands, but what are you using them for?

 

Track and road, get something like Ferodo DS2500 or Pagid blue as they bite ok when cold but great for an occasional track day. Regular track day use may require something a little more aggressive....

 

If you're running gti6 brakes, then any standard type pad should suffice. If you need anything more then you're defo driving too fast on public roads!!

At that price, I'd say try them. They are no more expensive than a standard pad, so even if they are no better than a standard pad, you have not lost out.
