106 (Angular Type) Dash Conversion. Electronic Compatability

Recommended Posts

johnhenry

Evening all

An idea that I'm looking into following seeing photos of a couple of cars on here with it done is the 106 dash conversion, not the sweep kind (saxo vtr/vts) but the more angulary one from the 106.

People say its a good fit, fine with that part

What are the electric's like in terms of connecting it up?

all the items like hazards are surely going to be a nightmare to connect up correctly?

Whats the dash like? will a standard 205 dash fit the angular kind of 106 dash?

Cheers in advance for any help possible

john

Have a look on 106 owners. Someone did a dial conversion guide on there for analogue to digital dials and it has every single pin out labeled. May help

The hazards, fogs, demise and fag lights will be piss easy, basically the same. Just the gauges for you to work out, for ease you could just make your own with after market gauges. Motorsport yo!
