Roof Mounted Ariel

Does anybody know if the roof mounted ariel (just in front of sunroof) is of the boosted type or not. I broke my original one off and replaced it a cheapie from Halfrauds but it still gets no reception. have I cocked it up or do I have to get a boosted ariel.??

As standard it isn't boosted. I refitted a boosted one and reception is really good.

 

Did you replace the complete lead too?

Nah... as it had worked Ok before I didn't think to, all I had done was snap the mount when I tried to adjust the angle.. Have to see if it is still lurking in the garage..
