Also, Vacuum Cleaner Self Service is easier to understand than Staubsaugerselbstbedienung.

Umm, yep. That's true.

Got it out of the shed and gave it's first wash of 2014.

Really pleased on how the new trim looks out in the light, money well spent ^_^

Still to fit the front arch trim and front bumper in the next month, ready for the 1st May

Servo is a base model 205 item as they are smaller in diameter (not depth though) than GTI's, that's to make way for the clutch master cylinder.

Ahh right only reason i ask is my old rusty 1.6 was tiny but quite deep and i replaced it with a 2nd hand one that looks identical to yours and the guy told me he thought it was from a saxo but wasnt sure. As it turned out it was perfect for shoe horning a turbo lump around it.

To be honest there really isn't much in it, I needed it though. It has no affect on the brakes, I ran a smaller one on both my GTI6 engined cars with 1.9 brakes and was great.

That's good you have sorted the beam.

Two weeks and we start, not long

Tom did you bend those pipes by hand?

Finished these-

Not too shabby considering they were a mixture of colours and the long one was snapped in two places.

Fitted the front door cards and I'm actually happy with the fit at the top! :) I have drunk a bottle of wine whilst in the garage mind :P

Fitted my paragonpug 'rare,original,awesome,205,dimma' Ariel! Not quite so pleased with that as it's nothing like the original one I removed. It's not corroded with a snapped off thread though so I rekon I'll cope.

Oil change today!

The weather was excellent: warm and sunny, so the CTI was topless most of the day. Bring on the summer!
