Nice 1 Mines only been sorned 10 days while 1, the s*it weather is gone and 2,so i can get round having to tax it every new years day.

 

Missing it like a kidnapped child, i have my rag down in any weather even snow lol but not rain obviously.

 

A soft top isn't just about sun ;) great pic that.

You know they are planning to stop issuing tax discs in the Autumn. ;)

 

Although, thinking about it, will still have to give the Government cash. gggrrrrrr.

Off topic question, Is yours a 1.6 Cti? whats the number written on the AFM, assuming its standard?

If you could take a look it would be apreciated

 

I have an F plate CTI, and begining to think the AFM is from a late 1.6 Gti.

It is a 1.6 and I believe all the 1.6 engines all have to same afm whether cti or gti but Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong. I don't have the full number to hand but it ends in 056

Alex,

I think Bucky is right, but I've just checked mine (G reg late 1989 1.6 CTi), & the number is 0 280 202 056.

 

If you've got problems with it, check the connector and make sure the contact pins are clean on the AFM itself.

Snow running on the M5 a few years ago on the way back from Llandow.

Whats the bump under the cover henry? anything special or just to provide a slope for moisture run off
