S16 Block & Gti6 Head

Is it possible to use s16 block with wiseco pistons 8.5:1 compression ratio and 152mm con. rods on GTI6 head?

 

If yes,what is the new compression ratio ?

The pistons are for xu10j4 and gives comp. ratio of 8.5:1 with S16 head.

 

Is it possible to use the Xu10j4rs head instead? Then what compression ratio i will get?

A little higher, but not much, chamber is 37.5 cc iirc, mi16 is 40cc.

What do you see as the benefit in using a GTi6 head for a blown application?

The Gti6 head have double springs so possible to rev it higher,less problems with oil starvation.Also I have an offer for cheap S16 forged pistons and rods.

yes, ive done exactly that, but took the gti6 head back off in favour of a S16 head.

 

The cam belt and tensionor also need changed and the exhaust head flange tilts back on the gti6
