I'm in the middle of cleaning up a GTI6 engine to go in my car.

 

The alternator that came with the engine is far too scabby to even attempt to try to scrub up.

 

Does anyone know what other cars (specifically) have the same alternators?

 

(could my alternator on my 1.9 engine be used if required as it's very clean?)
