Recommended Posts

Daryl1205

Right my 205 has had starting problems since I got it iv now put the gti6 engine in and it ran almost fine when I first done the conversion then the cam shaft pulleys went so had to rebuild the head only things that changed is the type of pulleys and the flywheel iv had it running but coz I never had gear oil or the power steering hoses on I shut it off but it was running without throttle but now it only fires when you launch break cleaner down the intake I know it's over fueling

Any idea of anything that can make this happen the pump does run and the injectors were injecting but dono if there still doing so

Thanks Daryl

Low voltage can burn out fuel pumps, check the ground connection in the boot behind the rear left tail light

I might had a loom you can use

My loom was used my twin pump setup, the OE feed to pump turns on he relay which in turns enables a new feed direct off he battery

So you will have to a little but if re wiring

.

You may have a bad wire somewhere, and the drain is killing it
