amusingadam 6 1 Cars Posted December 22, 2013 Do I need to upgrade the m/c in order to run 307 hdi brakes ??? I do believe they fit straight on and make for a good upgrade so I was told anyone have experience with them
pugdamo 111 2 Cars Posted December 22, 2013 If you run the standard 205 master cylinder you will get longer brake pedal travel, you can fit a non ABS 406 master cylinder to improve it
welshpug 1,646 Posted December 22, 2013 Depends which 307 HDI, there are several variants, in most cases you will be just fine with a standard 205 MC, even the ones with the big 57mm piston (like a gti6) you'll just have a slightly longer pedal.
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted December 22, 2013 If you can get 306 calipers, disc's are lighter and pads are allot cheaper, MS is suck it and see, I have never had any issues with std 205 Bendix ones, Pattern ones are poo thou

Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted December 23, 2013 Personally get a decent set of 1.9gti brakes with decent pads. I used to have 307 hdi and gti6 calipers and both I felt ruined the handling, too heavy IMO
