Diesel Rear Beam Torsion Bars

Does anyone know if a diesel rear beam will have thicker torsion bars than my current 1.1 axle? Thanks.

If it's a Td it might have an ARB

... although unlikely to be a GTi spec (19mm) one - 205 TD's usually seem to be 14 or 16mm from what I've seen.

What bars does a STDT have? I came across one in a scrapyard but didn't think to look at the beam.

Going by the two that I've seen, they're the same as an XS - 18.5mm torsion bars and 16mm ARB.
