another +1 for getting some, I bought a set of faithful tools ones as they were on offer at my local shop, they came with a flexible head as well as the ratchet. made life infinitely easier.

Single ones in Halfords have been reduced from ~£12/14 down to £3 each. Reserve online and they become £2.70 each. They do the fixed and flexi head ones.

 

Don't use your trade card though as they go to £8odd each. I did not do this.

there's one or two available on a few stores local ish to me, nothing worthwhile making the trip for though, better to just buy the kit and add the 16 and 18.

Only ones I managed to get from any local stores were 9, 11. 18mm fixed heads... Would have got them all for £3 each

Halfords pro ones are great. The only issue i have with them is if you get the flex head ones, they can go floppy after a while which can be a right pain. My 13mm one has tape around the flex so it doesn't move every time i undo a bolt!

 

The snap on ones are substantially better as they are a much finer ratchet but obviously carry a higher price.

I've already got a set and have managed to track down the 9, 16 & 18 from 2 stores local to complete the 'set'.

9mm is one I would live without, I think I own 4 9mm spanners in various sets, but I don't think I have EVER used any of them!

Definitely worth having, I use them at work & really missed forgetting the 11mm one I have at home when I did the head on kezzers car a few months ago.

I bought a cheap set from aldi as I don't use them very ofton as most times you don't have the space to use them but they work fine when I ve used them.

 

I bought the same 5-piece set and have used them to good effect so definitely a worthwhile purchase - by the way, they're almost as good a quality as anything esle out there, typically Germans don't suffer inferior quality tools.
