Removing Rear Brake Sliders

Recommended Posts

mrfirepro

Am rebuilding/reconditioning the rear brakes all done except removing the sliders.

As I have made a few cock up's recently thought I would ask before I FUBAR them.

This is the best pic I have as the sliders can just be seen

Peel boots from grooves, push out, note orientation (groove on one side is closer to the end)

Have pushed quite hard. Should I tap out with a hammer and screwdriver, can I break anything?

thanks welshplug

All done, the first pair were really tight, had to use a small hammer and screwdriver, the second pair pushed out with my finger.
