Helper Springs On Gaz Golds, Top Or Bottom Of Spring?

Where ever you have the biggest guide for the main spring.

 

I.e. against the body of the damper if you place it on the bottom.

Thanks for replies. Found out that the locating seat for the spilling doesn't fit over the damper body so has to go at the top, if they were gha's I dare say the locating thing would slide over the body and sit below the main spring.

Nearly got them finished what a twat it is to get the shock to sit in the hub end properly!

You get slightly less unsprung weight by putting them up top I would think.
