Top Mounts...worth Changing?

Hi

 

I am replacing dampers and springs...Also getting the top mount rubbers from BBM..

 

But is it worth replacing the entire top mounts also - do they tend to wear much?

I would replace the bearings, they are very cheap, other than those and the bushes, nothing else wears.

The Bbm donuts are quite harsh imho

 

But I suppose it depends what the car will be used for

I've got the BBM top mount donuts in mine. Much nicer than the soft old ones and not overly stiff. With new standard engine mounts, it's a great combo.
